A recognized leader in aircraft maintenance and a former FAA Maintenance Technician of the Year, Dwight Dean Law is the founder of and Director of Maintenance for Aviation Specialists. He received a U.S. Patent and has been awarded a Thomas Edison Grant for the invention of a safety-enhanced battery which eliminates fire and other hazards associated with electrical ignition sources following transportation accidents. While managing the Grant County Airport in Petersburg, West Virginia, Mr. Law established the areas first full-service maintenance facility and twin-engine charter service. He has also acted as Coordinator for airport reconstruction at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and has been a Guest Lecturer for the Department of Aviation at The Ohio State University and at Middle Tennessee State University in Murphreesboro, TN.
