Robert A. Frink, now retired, has served as an employee with the Federal Aviation Administration since 1963. Most recently, he has served as Air Traffic Manager, Chicago-O’Hare ATCT, Chicago, IL and as an assessor in the Air Traffic/Airway Facilities National Selection Program where he is involved in the evaluation and selection of mid/upper level Air Traffic/Airway Facilities management positions. Mr. Frink has extensive Air Traffic Managerial and Controller experience dating from 1963. Most recently, he has served as Air Traffic Manager at Chicago-O’Hare ATCT from 1996 to 1999 and as Air Traffic Manager at Chicago-O’Hare ATCT/TRACON from 1994 to 1996. He has also acted as Manager of the Systems Management Branch, AGL-530, Great Lakes Regional Office in Chicago, IL from 1993 to 1994, and served as Air Traffic Manager (Chief) in Columbus, OH ATCT from 1984 to 1993. In 1985, he served for six months on a special assignment to FAA’s Headquarters in Washington, DC, creating the Air Traffic Automation Software Division, formerly known as ATR-220. Recipient of FAA Distinguished Service Award, 1993.
